Georgia State University’s Chemistry and Biology departments have invited us to their open house/poster day on Saturday (2/24/07). They are recruiting graduate students and are offering competitive stipends of $5400/yr for MS students and approx $18,500/yr for PhD students. RSVP info.

I’m glad to announce that Dr. Zhen Huang will be our guest speaker at our next meeting on Tuesday 2/27/07 in SC 212 @ 12:30pm. The first SAACS meeting of the semester will be held in SC 212 today, February 13, 2007 at 12:30pm. We will be discussing the plans for the year, including an essay contest and field trips.
